Krafty Noel--Stamp Simply #108

Sharon has a super fun challenge for us today! We have to use Kraft and black on our projects. I love both of them so I LOVE this challenge, LOL! Here's what Sharon has to say:

Friday, Oct. 9 - ssnotime108 - Krafty Black -- Today's challenge is in honor of all those who LOVE Kraft paper. It is likewise a little push or shove to those who rarely use it (and that would be ME!) The added element is that we MUST use black paper as well -- anything else goes, as long as you have both Kraft and Black paper in your creation. And, if you don't own Kraft paper, do your best to use whatever you have that is as close as possible. As always, we're an easy bunch. We just want you to play and have some fun with us!

This is quite possibly the quickest card I've ever made! And I love it! I think it qualifies as CAS--sorta, LOL! And it's definitely "stamped simply". Last night as I was preparing dinner, I started brainstorming this card. Suddenly I remembered this NOEL stamp and I remembered this ribbon and it was DONE! Really! That almost *never* happens for me. I planned it all while I was mixing up a meat loaf and as soon as I popped it in the oven I ran to my Girl Cave and made this card. I don't usually "mass produce" but I'd sure consider doing this one. I'm thinking I don't need to explain too much about this card ;-) The ribbon has a thread of red running through it so I used a red button from the Summer Collection by My Favorite Things and a red layer of card stock for accent (couldn't be *too* CAS, now could I? ;-))

So, now it's your turn. Come along and play and take us up on the challenge--we'd love to see what you come up with. If you do, be sure to leave a comment on Sharon's blog telling her where you uploaded. Please use the keyword ssnotime108 if you upload to a public forum. 16. I love the way this turned out. Someone recently gave me a set of letters that spell out Noel, and I didn't know what I could do with them. They are not as beautiful as the ones you used, but I still think I'll try to do something similar. Thank you for the idea.
