MFT June Teaser, Day One - Happy Birthday, Big Boy

It's time, it's time!!! Time for MFT Teasers to start up again! If you've seen the Freeze Frames this week at the MFT blog, you know you're in for a treat as we show you teasers for the next five days. Today we're showing you Fred Bear Well Done and First Place Award Ribbon (Die-namics Duo - stamp set & die set). I'm showing you First Place Award Ribbon, but first, a few little things you need to know:
  • The June Guest Designer Contest begins today and ends on Monday, June 6th at 10 PM EST. The winner will be announced at the release party. Get the deets here.
  • Teasers begin today and will continue daily through Tuesday, June 7th. Head on over to the MFT blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with for today's teasers. Every day there will be a prize hidden on two of the Creative Team's blog posts. Leaving a comment on every designer's blog post will give you the best chance of winning every day :) Check the MFT blog daily for the winners.
  • The June Hop and Shop will begin at 10:00pm June 7th, with the hop also starting at the MFT Blog.
So, let's get on with my project, shall we? First of all, I made my card base, then moved on to the award ribbon. The bottom layer was made with the 1/4" Rosette die, then I added the large die cut from First Place Award Ribbon. Don't you love that scalloped edge? Can't you think of many more ways to use it? Then I stamped the little banner and stamped "Big Boy" on it and cut it out. Next I cut out the center circle and stamped "Happy Birthday". After I put all the layers together I cut out the ribbon tails and adhered them to the back of the award element. This set has SOOOOOOOOO many possibilities! Any happy occasion would warrant one of these adorable awards, don't you think?

For the inside, I used the "Super" and the star from the set and added "My" using the Banner Day Alphabet set.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back tomorrow with another teaser. I promise you won't want to miss this one. Just sayin'...
