Sweet 16

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! Today I've got a card using MFT’s By the Numbers Die-namics and Stamp Set. I thought this MME Lost and Found: Market Street paper would be perfect for a Sweet 16 birthday card.

I made good use of my paper design and stamped the ‘SWEET’ using Typewriter Alphabet. The 16 is glittered up with some Glitter Glitz Microfine Glitter in Apple Red and is popped on on the smaller of the Decorative Doily Duo Die-namics dies. I have a love-hate relationship with glitter—I love to use it but I hate to use it. KWIM? Until this stuff—it’s fabulous! I ran my numbers through my little Xyron X sticker maker then poured the glitter on. Stuck like a charm! Then some stitching, some vintaged up seam binding and some stick pins and it was done. It’s hard to see, but I have a strip using the Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics die under the seam binding.

And here’s the inside, using a couple of the Well Worn Greetings Die-namics dies and a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental About Birthdays.
