MFT September Creative Challenge

Welcome to MFT’s September Design Team Creative Challenge! This month’s challenge was to NOT color. To see what the other designers came up with, be sure to visit the MFT Blog for the complete list of those participating.

EEK! This was a hard one for me. While I love to stamp images INSIDE a card and leave them uncolored, I’d never tried it on the OUTSIDE. But…Flopsey to the rescue!!

I’m using Sweetie Pie Flopsey and stamped him on Fossil card stock. I couldn’t resist making his chef’s hat white (well, OFF white), but it’s paper pieced, not colored, and set at a rather rakish angle, don't you think? That’s allowed, right? ;-) And I decided he had baked a pumpkin pie, so made this a fall themed card and popped him up on a Open Scalloped Doily Die-naimcs die cut. I used the Bless You sentiment from PI - Li'l Pumpkin and stamped it on two sections of the Mini Ticket Strip Border Die-Namics die.

Thanks SO much for stopping by!

  2. Your au natural, non-colored Flopsey looks good! It is so hard to not color images and to think of ways to otherwise bring color. :)
