Button It Up–C4C #132

C4C132_2012apr14

I’m baaaaack! Today is Crazy 4 Challenges day! Cindy is our host again and she wants us to use buttons on our cards or projects. OK, I can do that, LOL! You know I love me some buttons!

I decided to jazz it up a bit and got out my MFT Die-namics Open Zig Zag Border. I cut my border and layered it on some black card stock for a strong visual effect. I added some narrow black and white gingham ribbon to cover the “seam” and adhered my rainbow of buttons. I had one zig more than I had buttons in my rainbow, so I filled in the gap with a black button tied with more of the ribbon. The buttons were threaded with Charcoal Baker’s Twine. The sentiment, from MFT’s Big Greetings stamp set, was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Here’s the inside, with another sentiment from the set, another zig zag border, and more of the ribbon.

Here is the Die-namics die I used on this card:

And that's all for me for me! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you!

THEN, you know what to do--we'd love to have you come along and play with us. Just do your thing with the challenge and link it to Mr. Linky on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Please link directly to your project. And, if you upload to a public gallery, please use the key word C4C132.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I’ll be back tomorrow with my card for this past week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge!
