OMGosh! I so remember “dressing up” in my mother’s high heels when I was a little girl so I just HAD to use this one today! She’s so adorable!!

Her hat is paper pieced, as is her dress, and the rest of the image is colored with Copic markers. At this point, I cut her out with my awesome Die-namics Oval STAX, sponged the edges with distress ink and proceeded to gussy it up. I added some white Fun Flock to her boa—I think it makes it look like feathers almost. What do you think? I put one layer on and felt it was kinda skimpy, so I did a sample run of adding more glue and flock and it worked, so I added another layer to the image. Much more lush than one layer. Then I added some flat pearls to HER pearls and matted the image with a Die-namics Oval Decorative Doily die cut.

The sentiment was stamped on a new Die-namics Circle STAX die cut and matted with a new Mini Doily Circles die in the “Decorative” style. Isn’t it adorable!!?? To finish it off, I added more pearls. I also have a Die-namics Simply Scallops, Medium border under there.

  10. I am normally not a fan of fun flock. It usually looks too thin and kinda messy but it looks awesome here! I didnt know you could add multiple layers and make it look so good. Now maybe I need some! :)
