For my first card I’m using Masculine Graphic Tee Die-namics and Stamp Set for a Father’s Day card. After I cut out my tee shirt I stamped “World’s Greatest” in dark blue ink and overstamped the mustache with black ink, stamped off once. Then I stamped “DAD” in black ink. If you’ve never stamped with solid stamps before here’s a little hint for best results: I use a pink rubber eraser to “rough” up the surface a bit before inking up my stamp. Go ahead and mount it on your block, then season it with the eraser. I keep a large stenciling brush handy to remove the eraser residue. But be careful if you do that—you can flip the stamp off the block and lose it. Ask me how I know this--it’s one reason I always buy an extra alphabet set ;-)

Under the tee shirt you’ll see a tag made with the new Traditional Tags STAX and the accent is done with a new Star STAX, a wooden button, and some twine.

Here’s the inside with a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental About Fathers.

My second card is using the new Vanity License Plate Die-namics and Stamp Set. This set is so fun!!! The die cuts out a mini license plate and the alphabet looks like license plate letters! Just think of all the words you can come up with!

I wanted to use the new Die-namics Hibiscus flower for my card so I spelled out MAHALO—Hawaiian for thank you.  I stamped the letters and then the little sentiment on the bottom. Then I sponged around with some distress ink, which smeared the red a bit. But I like it—gives it a glow, I think. I’m using a Die-namics Open Scallop Doily Duo die under the hibiscus, and a Die-namics Notched Border under the license plate.
