It’s Your BIG Day–CTD #210

CTD210_2012sep19

Howdy, friends! It’s time for another Color Throwdown Challenge! This week, my BFF Tammy has chosen the colors, based on a scrub top she saw at work. Just goes to show that inspiration can be found almost anywhere, right?

So, first of all, I die cut an opening in my card base with my Die-namics Designer Labels 3 STAX and sandwiched some patterned paper under the opening. At this point, to add some balance, I die some scoring with my Scor-Buddy in the upper left corner. Then I cut another piece using my Die-namics Designer Labels 3 STAX from corrugated paper and popped that up in the opening with foam tape. Next, I stamped the sentiment from Big Greetings on a Die-namics Well Worn Greetings Die Only oval and popped that up, as well. Finally, I added a Die-namics Fringed Perennial flower with Die-namics Royal Leaves, and a little rhinestones accent.

Here’s the inside with another sentiment from the set:

And that’s it! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the
Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD210 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
