I’m using Die-namics Circus Spectacular Die & Stamp Set for my card, and obviously, I switched things up a little. I cut my Die-namics Open Zig Zag Border from Tangy Orange card stock and stamped the elephant on Whip Cream card stock. The sentiment was also stamped on Whip Cream card stock cut out with a Die-namics Sentiment Strip. I cut the star from corrugated paper using my Die-namics Star STAX, tied on some Buttercream baker’s twine and a Tangy Orange button.

Here is the inside with a couple more images from the set:

Tomorrow Is Another Day–CTD #207

CTD207_2012aug29

Back again with this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge. This week’s colors were chosen by Lori based on this yummy-looking inspiration piece.

I went super CAS today. Using my Die-namics Hexagon die, I cut several patterns of paper from October Afternoon’s Cakewalk, and arranged them in a quilt block pattern in the upper left corner and added three more to the opposite corner. The sentiment is from Clearly Sentimental About Katherine Hepburn and was stamped on a Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX, popped up on foam dots and embellished with a Limeade button tied with twine.

Here’s the inside with another sentiment from the set:

Thinking Of You

myePblogpost_2012aug28

Hi, all, back again with a card using some eclectic Paperie    goodies. I started off with some of my favorite patterned papers, Lost & Found Two – Rosy by MME. I stitched around my base card and then added two MFT Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX die cuts. Then I stamped the typewriter image and sentiment, from Die-namics Just My Type Die & Stamp Set, on Kraft card stock and popped it up on foam tape. I added some twine, a Black Licorice button, and some sweet Kaiser Craft self adhesive black rhinestones.

The inside was stamped with a sentiment from
Clearly Sentimental About Sympathy.

A Little Note–C4C #151

C4C151_2012aug25

Happy Saturday! It’s time again for Crazy 4 Challenges! Today Silke Ledlow has a fun sketch for us.

C4Csketch151

I pulled out my MFT Die-namics Contempo Cage & Stamp Set for the focal image of this card, and my Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX for the vertical element. To make the little strip on which the sentiment is stamped, I used my Die-namics Wavy Edge die to cut both sides, and then curved my sentiment stamp a bit to follow the waves in the paper. Love how that turned out! I used Whip Cream card stock for the sentiment strip, and the cage and card base are Kraft card stock. For the horizontal element, I simply tied around some twine and used a Lemon Drop button.

Here’s the inside with another sentiment from the set:

Friendship

myePblogpost_2012aug23

Hi there! I’m back today with a card using some eclectic Paperie supplies.

First of all, I’m using this gorgeous
Graphic 45 paper called Once Upon a Springtime. I love the aquas and peaches in this collection. So, I made my card base with a couple of patterned papers from the collection, then added some lace from Graphic 45 Trim Staples and some Copic marker distressed seam binding, topped with an MFT Die-namics Royal Rose and Die-namics Royal Leaves flower. To finish that off, I added some Maya Road Vintage Leaf Pins in brown. The sentiment, from MFT’s Clearly Sentimental About Friendship, was stamped on Whip Cream card stock and sponged with Antique Linen Distress Ink. The corrugated card stock layer was cut with my Die-namics Designer Labels 3 STAX and the center layer of the sentiment element was cut with my Die-namics Artist Palette and Brush. It was the perfect size and the thumb hole doesn’t show with the sentiment layered on top. The sentiment itself was stamped on part of my Die-namics Layered Label set with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and was popped up on foam tape.

Here’s the inside with another sentiment from the set.

Always Have High Hopes–MFTWSC #86

Are you ready for another MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge? Here’s this week’s sketch. You can find the sketch on the MFT blog and also in the MFT forum on SCS, as well as in the weekly newsletter. The Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

I chose to work with Inspired By Up, Up and Away this week. I really love that set. I cut out my balloons with my Die-namics Up, Up and Away dies, stamped them with Memento Potter’s Clay ink, and popped them up on foam. The rest is pretty self-explanatory, I think. Some stitching, some Pumice Stone Distress Ink sponging, the sentiment stamped at the bottom, a border using my Die-namics Little Open Scallop Strip die cut, and finished off with a Hemp Cord-tied Tangy Orange button.

Here’s the inside with another sentiment from the set:
