You Smile, I Smile–C4C #167

C4C167_2013jan5

Hey, friends! It’s time for the very first Crazy 4 Challenges of the new year! This week, Betty is challenging us to use ribbons and bows on our projects. Not a problem, right?

I’m using some new
MFT products that will be released on January 8th for my card today. My card base was made using Whip Cream card stock and Red Hot card stock, along with patterned paper. After I got my base all sewn together, I tied around some ribbon, tied in a bow, then added a new Die-namics Leaf-Filled Flourish cut from Gumdrop Green card stock and topped with a new Die-namics Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose cut from Red Hot card stock. I REALLY love this rose. If you’ve wanted a rolled rose that “spreads” out more you will LOVE this, too. Finally, I stamped the sentiment on a Die-namics Traditional Tags STAX die cut and tucked it up under the bow.
Here’s the inside with another sentiment from the set:

And here are the products that will be released on January 8 that I used on this card.

And that's it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you!

THEN, you know what to do--we'd love to have you come along and play with us. Just do your thing with the challenge and link it to Mr. Linky on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Please link directly to your project. And, if you upload to a public gallery, please use the key word C4C167.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
