NewProductTour

Hi, everyone, and welcome to MFT’s April New Product Tour! We’re still changing things up a bit this month and you can get all the details at the MFT Blog. All new release products will be available for purchase at 10pm on April 9, at the MFT Boutique.

I’m showing you Blueprints 2 today, along with a couple of new sets: Clearly Sentimental About Chocolate (April’s Triple Scoop Set) and Birthday Sentiments – March’s Triple Scoop Set that will be available on it’s own tomorrow night at 10pm.

Whether you have limited time, or simply need a creative jumpstart; Blueprints is your answer.

A design plan and building blocks in one revolutionary product.  Follow the provided sketches, or mix and match the elements provided to become your own architect.  Leave the heavy lifting to us.

I have a couple of cards for you today—each of them is using one of the sketches that you get with the Blueprints 2 Die-namics set—very simple and quick and easy to put together. Sometimes that’s exactly what we need, right? The sentiment is from Clearly Sentimental About Chocolate and was stamped with a new ink color being released this month, Hot Fudge. It’s a deep, dark chocolate brown and is just what I’ve been needing. I did some real stitching around my card front, but look at the embossed “stitching” on those strips woven through the bottom element—fabulous detail!

I stamped another sentiment from the set on the inside—how cute is this???!! And see those PERFECT layers? Die-namics Blueprints 2 has a die that cuts the inner layer and Die-namics Blueprints 1 has a die that cuts the outer layer. I am SO excited to be able to cut PERFECT layers for my cards now without measuring and still getting less than perfect matted layers.

My first card could be for either male or female, I think, but my second one is decidedly male.

I’m giving it a Western flair with denim paper  and I hope the sentiment element kinda looks like a belt buckle. The sentiment is from Birthday Greetings and was added to the back of the frame cut from Blueprints 2. I also love the little eyelet die cuts—so cute and versatile!

The inside removes any doubt that this card is masculine, with another sentiment from Birthday Greetings.
