Love the Here and Now–MFT June Teaser, Day Six

teaserday6_2013jun10

Hi, there, everyone! Today I’m showing you a card with last month’s Triple Scoop set, Chalkboard Greetings, which will be available on it’s own at 10pm on June 11 at release time. I’m also showing you a fabulous new Die-namics set—Die-namics Chalkboard Frame Builder. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for set and die reveals and a chance to win a prize.

I started by cutting my frame pieces and then stamping them with the woodgrain image from LJD Western Backgrounds. Then I constructed my frame and inserted the Chalkboard Greetings sentiment. I used the chalkboard technique and popped it all up on foam tape after sponging the edges of the frame with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I wanted it to look like it was hanging on a wall, so I used some patterned paper that looks like vintage wallpaper. I attached some hemp cord to the frame and “hung” it from a decorative brad.

Here’s the inside with another sentiment from Chalkboard Greetings.
