Adjust Your Sails–C4C #194

C4C194_2013jul13

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s Crazy 4 Challenges card. This week Andrea is challenging us to make a nautical themed card.

I got out my sadly neglected Inspired by the Sea set for this card. I stamped the ship image on Sno Cone card stock with Kraft ink and added some Copic marker shading. I cut it out and popped it up on a Die-namics Pierced Circle STAX die cut, using Primitive White card stock, which was layered on a Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX cut from more Sno Cone card stock. My base card is Primitive White card stock and I added a layer of burlap for a rugged look. Some Die-namics Catch a Wave cut from Blu Raspberry card stock and a sailors knot embellishment finishes it off.

Here’s the inside with a sentiment from the set.

And that's it! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you!

THEN, you know what to do--we'd love to have you come along and play with us. Just do your thing with the challenge and link it to Mr. Linky on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Please link directly to your project. And, if you upload to a public gallery, please use the key word C4C194.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
