Hi, all! I’m pleased and proud to be participating in the CASE Study 3rd Anniversary Blog Hop! I was lucky to be a guest back in the first year and it’s always fun to do the hop! The theme this year is Inspiration. Easy, no??
You should have gotten here from Tasnim Ahmed’s blog, but if you didn’t, head back to the CASE Study blog to get on track. I’m told there are prizes up for grabs, so you might want to comment on every stop on the hop to up your chances. Just sayin’…
Well, I was totally inspired by a water lily blooming in one of my small ponds and decided to use it in a scrapbook page. As I worked on it and was pondering the journaling, I decided I might just do a four seasons kind of thing along this line as the next year evolves. We’ll have to see how that goes ;-)
So, as you can see I went all mixed media with this project and had tons of fun in the process. I love how you can slap stuff on a project and if you don’t like it, you cover it up with gesso and start all over! I used lots of gesso, molding paste, stamps and ink-- along with die cuts--to create my layout. AND a couple of pretty unexpected items: dry wall tape—it provides a lot of texture, and the circles were made by dipping the end of a paper towel roll onto my ink pad.
So, now it’s time to hop along to Teri Anderson’s blog—I’m sure she has something amazing for you to see! Thanks so much for stopping by!
