Just a Note–CTD #265

CTD265_2013oct23

Hi, everyone! It’s
Color Throwdown time! This week Vickie has an awesome color combo for us based on a striking inspiration piece.

swatch 265

I started with a Baked Brown Sugar card base and popped up a Sweet Tooth card stock panel. To add some texture to that white panel, I stenciled on some molding paste with MPD Scallops stencil. Then I cut out a LLD Insert It – InstaFrame Die-namics and stamped with with Baked Brown Sugar ink using LJD Spring Backgrounds. I popped that up on foam and added a Washi Tape Die-namics die cut from Not Quite Navy card stock and stamped with More Washi Patterns and Not Quite Navy ink. I added a Leaf-Filled Flourish Die-namics cut from Pistachio Pudding and a Royal Rose Die-namics cut from Crisp Cantaloupe. I stamped the sentiment, from More Essential Sentiments, with Black Licorice ink and added some matching enamel dots to finish it off.

Here’s the inside with another sentiment from More Essential Sentiments.
