Hello Friend–SSSC #220

SSSC220_2014may18

Happy Sunday, everyone! It’s time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! I totally LOVE this sketch! Gonna have to use it again and again, I’m thinkin’.

I started with a Grout Gray card stock base. I trimmed a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock for the smaller rectangle and, with Small Brick Wall stencil, added some embossing paste and let it dry. Then I sponged on some Brick Red ink, feathering off to the edges. Next I cut a Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock and stamped it with MPD Collage Backgrounds and Steel Gray Hybrid ink, stamped off once, and popped it up on foam. The butterfly, from MPD Winged Beauties, was stamped on some aqua vellum with Sweet Tooth Pigment ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder, then popped up on foam on the circle. The sentiment strip was first stamped with Grout Gray ink and Striped Backgrounds, then the sentiment, from LJD Fall Foliage, was stamped with Steel Gray Hybrid ink and also popped up on foam. Some enamel dots finish the design.

Another sentiment from LJD Fall Foliage was stamped on the inside.
