Hey, there! I’m back again with Day Three of MFT’s May Release Countdown! On to my card. I started with a Kraft card stock base. Then, on Grout Gray card stock, I applied some embossing paste with the new Small Brick Wall Stencil. Loving this!! Oh, yeah, just the right scale for card making :) After it dried, and to make it look like real brick, I sponged it with the stencil in place, first with Red Hot Hybrid ink and then with Kraft Hybrid ink, trimmed it down, and popped it up on the base with foam.

I stamped PI Can’t Wait to See You on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice Hybrid ink and colored it with Copic markers. I stamped the shutters again, colored them, cut them out, and popped them up on foam for dimension. The sentiment was stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder, then popped up on foam. I wasn’t planning on adding enamel dots, but a little mishap on the window sill when I was finished coloring necessitated extreme action ;-) I do like how they look, though, so it ended as a happy accident.

Another sentiment from the set was stamped on the inside with Black Licorice Hybrid ink.
