Hey, everyone, and welcome to this week’s Crazy 4 Challenges! Jessie is our host this month and she has a great sketch for us today.

This card started with a Black Licorice card stock base. Know how I used to hate to do square cards? Well, since I had an epiphany and realized they don’t have to be 5 x 5 I don’t mind so much, LOL! I just always looked at the wasted paper when I made one that size, plus, it’s often hard to find envelopes for them. Now I just trim down an A2, it ends up at 4 1/4” x 4 1/4” and still fits in an A2 envelope :) I’d still rather do an A2 size but I don’t dread square like I used to.

OK, on with the card ;-) Next, on a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock I spread some embossing paste using Herringbone Bricks stencil and a piece of patterned paper I stamped using Plaid Builder Background and Sour Apple ink, Wild Cherry ink, Cotton Candy ink, and Berrylicious ink. Then I created my little scene with a Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics cut from Berrylicious card stock. I added some Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics, a MSTN Christmas Cuteness snowman stamped on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink and colored with Copic markers. I popped it up on foam, added some sequins, and, following the sketch, three other elements. The first is the sentiment, stamped on a Circle STAX Die-namics cut from Black Licorice card stock, stamped with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The other two elements were done with a couple of Let It Snowflake Die-namics.

Another sentiment from the set was stamped on the inside.
