countdownday4_2014oct11a (1)

It’s Day Four of MFT’s Release Countdown! We’re halfway through and release is only three days away on October 14th at 10 pm! Be sure to get all the details at the MFT Blog. Today we’re previewing MSTN Christmas Cuteness, MSTN Christmas Cuteness Die-namics, Snowfall Background, and Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics.

I have a couple of cards for you today using all of today’s products. The first card stared with a Nightshift Blue card stock base. With Sweet Tooth pigment ink, I stamped Snowfall Background, then added Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock. Next, on X-Press It Blending Card, I stamped the adorable Santa from MSTN Christmas Cuteness with Black Licorice hybrid ink and colored him with Copic markers. I really love this Santa!! In fact, I really love this set! Next, I cut it out with the new Stitched Traditional Tag STAX Die-namics and popped it up on foam on the base, after punching a hole and threading some black hemp twine through.

The sentiment was heat embossed on a strip of Black Licorice card stock, stamped with Sweet Tooth pigment ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I finished off with a few clear gems surrounding the Santa.

Here are the Copic markers I used on this image:

Another sentiment from the set was stamped on the inside.

My second card uses a couple more images from the set.

This card started with a Berrylicious card stock base. I also stamped it with Sweet Tooth Pigment ink but I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I added some Stitched Snow Drifts Die-namics, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock, and added some Tree Lines Die-namics, cut from Chocolate Brown card stock, Timber Green card stock, and Jellybean Green card stock.

I cut the snowman and the deer from X-Press It Blending Card and stamped the images with Black Licorice hybrid ink, then colored them with Copic markers and popped them up on foam. The sentiment was stamped with more Black Licorice hybrid ink.

Here are the Copic markers I used on this card:
