I always love PI day, don’t you? This month is a cutie, for sure, with the addition of separate leaf dies! Be still my heart!! I started this card with a Grout Gray card stock base, then I created my background on Ranger watercolor paper with Blueberry dye ink for the sky and Jellybean Green dye ink for the grass. I added a new Prairie Fence Die-namics, cut from Kraft card stock, a Blueprints 21 Die-namics and Daffodil card stock sun and Cloud Cover-Up Die-namics and Sweet Tooth card stock cloud.

My PI was cut from Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb, stamped with the image and Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored with Copic markers, and popped up on foam mounting tape. Before I did that, though, I cut a bunch of loose leaves from Kraft card stock, Safety Orange card stock, Orange Fizz card stock, and Jellybean Green card stock and arranged some “piles” at the bottom of the fence. A few more are floating to the ground ;-) The sentiment was stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Versamark, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and also popped up on foam.

My second card is a little more CAS.

This card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next is a piece of Ranger watercolor paper on which I did a wash with Blu Raspberry dye ink. The sentiment, from Thanks So Very Much was partially stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink, then the center two words were stamped using Label Maker Sentiments and Label Tape Die-namics, also stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink and popped up on foam.

I added a couple of die cuts flowers using Fall Florals and Fall Florals Die-namics, stamped with Jellybean Green dye ink, Sour Apple dye ink, Daffodil Dye ink, Orange Zest dye ink, and Pure Plum dye ink. I tied them together with hemp cord, popped them up on foam, and finished the card off with enamel dots. This card is also for this week’s Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.

And that’s it for Day Three! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
