countdownday2_2015oct5

Hey, everyone, welcome to Day Two of MFT’s October Release Countdown! One more day to release on October 6th at 10pm! Be sure to get all the details at the MFT Blog! Today we’re previewing LLD Stay Cool, LLD Cool Cup Die-namics, Streetlights Die-namics, Stitched Cover-Up Companion – Diagonal Die-namics, Merry Christmas Centerpieces Die-namics, Crosshatch Background, and Crosshatch Stencil.

Of course I had to make a shaker card with Merry Christmas Centerpieces Die-namics :) I’m using Ranger watercolor paper for the front and the back of the shaker (with a Berrylicious dye ink wash), and heat resistant acetate for the window. I stamped the holly sprig from Hand Lettered Holiday all around with Black Licorice hybrid ink and Wild Cherry dye ink and colored with Zig Clean Color Brush Markers and mounted it on a Wild Cherry card stock base.

The shaker elements come with the centerpieces die and I added some Pretty Pink Posh seed beads, as well.

My second card uses several new products.

The side panel was stamped with Candy Stripes Background Builder to show that any color combo works, not just candy cane colors :) I stamped it on Sweet Tooth card stock with Kraft dye ink and the new Elf Green dye ink and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base. On more Sweet Tooth card stock I spread some embossing paste through Crosshatch Stencil and popped it up on foam mounting tape

I stamped two of the sentiments from the set on Elf Green card stock cut with Stitched Arch STAX Die-namics and Versamark, heat embossed them with white detail embossing powder, and popped it up on foam. The cup was cut from Kraft card stock and stamped with Elf Green dye ink.

The whipped cream was cut from Sweet Tooth card stock, the dome top from translucent vellum (heat resistant acetate would work fabulously, too!) and the straw from Elf Green card stock.

Looks good enough to drink, doesn’t it! Add a gift card inside and you have a perfect gift for any coffee lover :) Thanks so much for stopping by today! See you back tomorrow for the last day of MFT’s October Release Countdown!
