Hello and welcome to Day Two of MFT’s February Release Countdown—it’s getting close! Release is tomorrow night, February 2nd, at 10 pm! Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details.
Today we’re previewing Out of This World, Stamp Set, Out of This World Die-namics, Lots of Dots Background, Starry Night Background Builder, Stars In the Sky – Vertical Die-namics, Stars In the Sky – Horizontal Die-namics, Starry Sky – Horizontal Stencil, and Starry Sky – Vertical Stencil.
Oh. Em. Gee. I do love these space-y images!! Too cute for words! I thought I could get away with a color scheme that I don’t normally use since they are other-worldly. I started with a Stone Gray card stock base, then cut Nightshift Blue with Stars in the Sky – Vertical Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, matted it with Silver Sparkle card stock, and popped it up on foam mounting tape. Next I cut some Primitive White card stock with Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics and dry embossed with Snowfall Stencil for a moon crater look and popped it up on foam, as well.
I cut my space critters and the orbiting planet from Out of This World Die-namics from Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb paper, stamped the coordinating images from Out of This World with Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored them with Copic markers and popped them up on foam. I added some more “in the distance” planets with enamel dots. What fun this set is to work with!!
And there you have it—today’s card is “out of this world”! ;-) Thanks so much for stopping by today—hope to see you back tomorrow for the last day of MFT’s February Release Countdown!
