I Kinda Like You–MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #279

MFTWSC279_2016may5

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Challenge & Inspiration blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

Don’t you just LOVE this new set from MFT’s May Release! These two images just do me in! The bear is SO excited and the the bunny is SO happy—sweet! I started by trimming down a piece of Stone Gray card stock (love it!), stamped it with Versamark and Split Triangle Background, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, tied around some baker’s twine, and popped it up on foam mounting tape. The next panel is Ranger Watercolor paper on which I did a watercolor wash using Peerless Watercolors and popped that up, as well.

Then I stamped the two images from Snuggle Bunnies on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink and cut them out with Snuggle Bunnies Die-namics. I colored them with Copic markers and popped them up on foam. I added some Puffy Clouds Die-namics cut from Sweet Tooth card stock, some hearts cut from Wild Cherry card stock with Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-namics, and the sentiment, stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock cut with Blueprints 27 Die-namics and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. So SWEET!!

And that’s it from me with
MFT’s Wednesday Sketch Challenge #279. Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
