I have a couple of cards for you today using these products. First up is this adorable Pure Innocence. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base then applied a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor Paper with Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush to create my background. After I stamped the sentiment with Black Licorice hybrid ink, I tied around some baker’s twine and popped it up with foam mounting tape on the base, along with a strip of Trail Mix Paper Pack.

Next I stamped PI Hula Hoop on X-Press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut her out with PI Hula Hoop Die-namics, colored her with Copic markers, and popped her up on foam. I finished off with some Puffy Clouds Die-namics Cut from Ranger Watercolor Paper.

For my second card, I’m using the
Make a Wish stamp set that was in June’s Card Kit. New this month, and coordinating with the stamp set and Make a Wish Die-namics, are Birthday Candles Die-namics that can stand alone.

I decided to make a slider card with these products to go along with this awesome sentiment, which I love, and the new Slider Channel Builder Die-namics makes that an easy task. Sorry I didn’t take photos along the way, but I wasn’t sure which way I was going with it until it was just about done. You can see how Slider Channel Builder Die-namics works on today’s post at the MFT Blog. I used the longest straight slot from Surf & Turf Die-namics and was able to extend a bunch more candles out with it :) I used Heat Resistant Acetate card stock on which to mount the additional candles so the background paper from Birthday Blowout Paper Pack could shine through.

The sentiment was stamped on Blueprints 8 Die-namics cut from Translucent Vellum, stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. I popped it up on clear foam tape under several of the letters.

And, that’s it for Day Three of
MFT’s August Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you soon!
