I have a couple of cards for you today starting with the super sweet PI Cupcake Day. I did her in MFT colors so I could use the exclusive MFT Pretty Pink Posh Sequins—how cool is that?! I started with a  Sweet Tooth card stock base on which I stamped Scattered Surface Background with Black Licorice dye ink. Next is a double frame cut from Black Licorice card stock with Stitched Rectangle Frames Die-namics and the new Watercolor Wash Brights Paper Pack cut with Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frames Die-namics and popped up on foam mounting tape. I made another frame for my shaker element using two sizes of Wonky Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics, Heat Resistant Acetate, and foam mounting tape.

I stamped my PI and three copies of the balloons on X-Press It Blending card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored her with Copic markers, cut her out with PI Cupcake Day Die-namics, and popped her up on foam. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on Black Licorice card stock cut with Blueprints 29 Die-namics, heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, and also popped up on foam.

My second card would be perfect for a guy, don’t you think?

I started with a Kraft card stock base and stamped it with Transparent Triangles Background and Versamark. Then, using my MISTI, I stamped the Birthday Speech Bubbles on Smooth White card stock using Tangy Orange dye ink, Tropical Teal dye ink, Fuse Green dye ink, and Blueberry dye ink. I cut them out with Birthday Speech Bubbles Die-namics and popped them up with foam mounting tape.

To finish off and to add another masculine touch, I tied around some hemp cord.

Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day One—the last day of MFT’s July Release Countdown!
