Who doesn’t like snowflakes, right? Today we have products that were in the September Card Kit and are now available in their own right. I have a couple of cards using them in different ways. My first card started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base to which I added a strip of Kraft Collection – Solid Stripes Paper Pack. Next I added more Sweet Tooth card stock on which I stamped the sentiment from Snowfall of Blessings with Versamark and heat embossed with silver detail embossing powder. Next I applied molding paste through Snowfall Stencil and set it aside to dry.

While it was drying I cut Stylish Snowflakes Die-namics from Kraft card stock and Silver Sparkle card stock, stacked them up, and adhered them together. I tied baker’s twine around the card front, popped it up on foam mounting tape, adhered the die cut snowflakes, and it was done!

My second card involved some watercoloring.

This card also started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next I stamped Simply Snowflakes on Ranger Watercolor Paper with Versamark and heat embossed them with white detail embossing powder. Then I did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors and a waterbrush, layered it with Gold Sparkle card stock, and popped it up on the base with foam mounting tape.

To finish off, I cut Merry Christmas Die-namics from Gold Sparkle card stock, popped it up on foam, and called it done!

  6. Two terrific cards with different versions of snowflakes. The gold and silver snowflake is very elegant on the embossed snow background. The falling white embossed snowflakes look like they are vellum on the gorgeous water colored background.
