I’ve always wanted to make one of these pop-up slider cards and this was exactly the push I needed! Blueprints 28 Die-namics was MADE for this technique—no cutting the flap with a paper cutter and maybe slipping—this does it perfectly with one run through your die-cutting machine. There are instructions all over the Internet so I didn’t reinvent the wheel—just search that term and you’ll find a wealth of information on creating one of these.

I cut the front from
Ranger Watercolor Paper on which I did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors. Then I created a little scene using Birdhouses Die-namics, Mailbox Die-namics for the grass, Blueprints 21 Die-namics cut from Sunshine card stock, and Puffy Clouds Die-namics. All this was popped up on the Sweet Tooth card base with foam mounting tape.

Additionally. I used File Folder Edges Die-namics for the top of the pull-out element and stamped the sentiment with Boss Babe stamp set in Black Licorice dye ink. I thought that sentiment went well with the two little birdies building their nest in the birdhouse :)

An that, as they say, is that. Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!

This is such a sweet color palette I decided to go with a tweet set and dies. I’m using Tweet Friends and Tweet Friends Die-namics and Mini Modern Blooms and Mini Modern Blooms Die-namics, along with Contemporary Cages Die-namics for my card. The birdies were stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut with the dies, colored with Copic markers and highlighted with a Uni-Ball White Gel Pen. The flowers and leaves were stamped with Lemon Chiffon dye ink, Blue Yonder dye ink, Cement Gray dye ink, and Black Licorice hybrid ink.

I did a little air brushing for the background of the card front, stamped the sentiment, and popped it up on foam mounting tape on a Sweet Tooth card stock base with a strip of On-Point Patterns Paper Pack running down the left side. Then I popped up Contemporary Cages Die-namics, cut from Gravel Gray card stock, tied some baker’s twine through the hanging loop, adhered the flowers and birds, and finished off with some Sparkling Clear Mix Sequins.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $20 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week!

Thanks for stopping by! See you soon!

Well, this was fun! I used lots of products on this card and I’m pretty happy with it. I stamped Happy Birthday Background on Sweet Tooth card stock with Black Licorice hybrid ink and cut the circle element out with Circle STAX Set 1 Die-namics. I embossed more card stock with Concentric Circle Grid Stencil, added it behind the circle with foam mounting tape, and popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock card base. I added Plaid Patterns Paper pack to the bottom, and added Stitched Circle Scallop Edge Frames Die-namics cut from Gold Shine card stock to the circle edge.

I stamped BB Birthday Bears with Versamark on Pure Plum card stock and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, then popped it up on foam. The sentiment was completed with Cause for Celebration Die-namics cut from Black Licorice card stock. The balloons were stamped from BB Beary Special Birthday with Black Licorice hybrid ink on Ranger Watercolor Paper, colored with Peerless Watercolors, and popped up on foam. I finished off with some stars cut from Gold Shine card stock with Blueprints 25 Die-namics and Tag Builder Blueprints 6 Die-namics.

And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the
