Birdie Brown has done it again—this month’s stamp set and Die-namics are over the top cute as always! So cute I’ve got two cards for you using them. For my first one I did a watercolor wash on Ranger Watercolor Paper with Peerless Watercolors for the background, added Ocean Waves Die-namics cut from Summer Splash card stock and I used Beach Scene Builder Die-namics for the rest of the “bones” of the scene.

The images were stamped on X-press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating dies, colored with Copic markers, and popped up in the scene with foam mounting tape. Look at that little pirate—is he not the cutest thing?!

For my second card, I wanted it to look like the pirate captain was standing on a ship’s deck.

To do that, I simply added a strip of Cherry Wood Adhesive-Backed Sheet and built my scene around that using Ocean Waves Die-namics and a sky created with Cloud Stencil.

Again, the images were stamped on X-press It Blending Card with Black Licorice hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating dies, colored with Copic markers, and popped up in the scene with foam mounting tape. Too sweet!!!

And that’s it for Day Four of
MFT’s June Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by—see you back tomorrow for Day Three!
