Another Birthday? No Prob-Llama! CTD #453

CTD453_2017jul24

Hey, there, welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week my girl Broni has a gorgeous palette for us to work with inspired by her refreshing summer scene.

It’s been a while since I played with Llama Love and I though the recently released Fringed Scallop Borders Die-namics would be a fun look using the challenge colors so I combined them on this card. For my background, I applied molding paste through English Brick Wall Stencil on Sweet Tooth card stock, allowed it to dry, and sponged Kraft dye ink through the stencil for some contrast. I stamped the sentiment at the bottom and popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

The images were stamped with Black Licorice hybrid ink on No-Line Coloring Card Stock, cut with Llama Love Die-namics, colored with Copic Markers (now available in the MFT store!), and added to the scene on foam tape. The borders were cut from Tiny Hearts Brights Paper Pack and adhered for a fun party vibe!

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the
Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD453 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd453 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our incredibly talented July Guest Designer, Tracey McNeely!
