Hey everyone, it’s time for another Color Throwdown Challenge! Lori is our hostess this week and she has a primary color palette for us based on her delightful inspiration piece.
I decided to get out my Quilt Square Cover-Up Die-namics for this card. The pieces were cut from Bundles of Blossoms Bright, Tiny Check, and Fresh Squeezed Chevron paper packs and inlaid into a Sweet Tooth card stock frame.
The sentiment is from LLD Hug in a Mug Stamp Set, stamped on Sweet Tooth card stock with Black Licorice dye ink, and popped up on a Sweet Tooth card base with foam tape. After I tied around some baker’s twine I popped the quilt square up on foam, too, and finished off with some enamel dots that were feeling lonely in my stash ;-)
And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD467 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd467 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, including our incredibly talented November Guest Designer, Kelly Lunceford!
