Are you ready for another really gorgeous veggie set? Marcella Hawley has done it again! This set is Italian Garden and has so much going on!
For my project today, I decided to make a little gift set of some of the bounty from my garden. I canned some spicy tomato based bread dipping sauce and thought this was a perfect way to gift a jar. Here’s the set, with a card and a simple tag.
I stamped the image on Classic White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic markers. I used the Poppy Collection for the tomatoes, and markers from the Copper Collection and the Sunflower Collection for the other images. The I cut it out with my Grand Calibur and my Labels Eighteen Nestabilities, sponged it with Distress Ink before popping it up on foam. For the bottom of the card base, I stamped the three herb images from the set in Soft Suede ink, stamped off once. I tried Versamark but it didn’t show up as much as I wanted. A little stitching and some homey gingham ribbon finished it off! The tag is very simple, cut with my Cricut and the image stamped lightly with the sentiment overstamped with Memento Tuxedo Black. The image was cut with Standard Circle Nesties and the mat with Blossom Nestabilities.
Here’s a closeup of the card.
