Parties, thank you gifts, thoughtful little surprises - so many different occasions when a sweet treat is warranted! Our team of designers is with us today sharing ideas for creating sweet treats with an even sweeter presentation. Our assortment of Die-namics will do the work - you just have fun embellishing and filling!
Hi there, and welcome to MFT’s August Die-namics Design Challenge! This month were doing treat boxes and treats. I love the Paper Bag Peek-a-Boos Die-namics along with Paper Bag Treat Box Die-namics so I used them to make an easy little gifty treat. For the first one, I cut the box from Orange Fizz card stock, cut the Jack o’Lantern face out, and assembled. I tied some Halloween baker’s twine around the bottom, stuffed it with black tissue paper and filled it. To finish it off, I added a sentiment flag, cut from Blueprints 25 Die-namics. The sentiment if from LJD Primitive Pumpkins and was stamped with Black Licorice dye ink. I matted it with a hand-cut purple glitter paper layer, attached it to a toothpick, and stuck it in the top.
For the second one, I cut Paper Bag Treat Box Die-namics from Black Licorice card stock then cut the spider web from Paper Bag Peek-a-Boos Die-namics. I cut another copy of that from silver sparkle card stock and adhered it, added the spider, cut from black glitter paper and attached to a silver cord. The sentiment flag was done the same was as for the orange box.
As for the treats? What better than chocolate?!
And there you have it! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!
