Good Luck–MFT February Release Countdown, Day Three

Hi, everyone, thanks for joining me for Day Three of MFT’s February Release Countdown!! Release is at 10 on February 2nd—be sure to get all the details at the MFT Blog.


Today we’re previewing PI Lucky Us Stamp Set, PI Lucky Us Die-namics, Lucky Stamp Set, Lucky Die-namics, and Lucky Prints Patterned Paper.  I have a card for you using PI Lucky Us Stamp Set and PI Lucky Us Die-namics, along with the also new Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics.

I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base, added some of the sweet Lucky Prints Paper Pack on the right side along with a narrow strip of Dots & Stripes Neutral Paper Pack. Next is more Sweet Tooth card stock with an opening cut with Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. Behind the opening is some Ranger Watercolor paper colored with Peerless Watercolors, then the Sweet Tooth card stock was popped up on foam mounting tape.



My PI Lucky Us was stamped on PI Lucky Us Die-namics, cut from Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 110lb paper with Black Licorice hybrid ink and colored with Copic markers. I added some Crystal Effects to the horseshoe for dimension and definition. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on a flag cut from Black Licorice card stock with Blueprints 25 Die-namics and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder. I popped it and Pi Lucky Us up on foam and finished off with some enamel dots.

You’re Souper Cool–MFT February Release Countdown, Day Four

Hello and welcome to Day Four of MFT’s February Release Countdown! Release is on February 2nd at 10pm—be sure to get all the details at the MFT Blog. Today we’re previewing BB Recipe for Happiness Stamp Set, BB Recipe for Happiness Die-namics, Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, Inside & Out Stitched Square STAX Die-namics, Inside & Out Stitched Oval STAX Die-namics, and Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics.

I’m so please with the way this card turned out! I decided to create a kitchen scene and it just all came together as I envisioned it. I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base. Next I cut some County Fair Plaid Paper Pack with Blueprints 24 Die-namics and cut the opening with Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. Be still my heart!! I’ve been wanting some of these shapes—I love to have stitching on the inside of a frame and now it’s possible! Moving on, next I stamped up some Sweet Tooth card stock with Small Brick Background and Gravel Gray dye ink to look lik subway tiles—I have some in one of my bathrooms and was inspired but it. The floor was inspired by another bathroom that has those tiny hexagon tiles—the new Mini Hexagon Background is PERFECT for it!! I popped the plaid frame up on foam mounting tape on the backgrounds and adhered it to the card base.



Then, using BB Recipe For Happiness and BB Recipe For Happiness Die-namics, I stamped the images with Black Licorice hybrid ink, colored with Copic markers, and popped them up on foam. The rack was cut with Blueprints 16 Die-namics from Silver Shine card stock. The sentiment was stamped on Black Licorice card stock with Versamark and heat embossed with white detail embossing powder, then popped up on foam.

You Amaze Me–MFT February Release Countdown, Day Five

Hi, everyone! It’s that time of the month—MFT February Release Countdown starts today! Release is on February 2nd at 10pm—get all the details at the MFT Blog. Today we’re previewing LJD Whimsical Greetings Stamp Set, LJD Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window Die-namics, Farm-tastic Stamp Set, Farm-tastic Die-namics, Farm Fence Die-namics, Country Fair Plaid Patterned Paper, Sunny Skies Die-namics - Previous Free with $60, and Mini Hexagon Background.

For my card today, I started with a Stone Gray card stock base. Next I did a watercolor wash with Peerless Watercolors on some Ranger Watercolor Paper and the overstamped that with Mini Hexagon Background and Cement Gray dye ink. Then I cut an opening with LJD Rectangle Peek-a-Boo Window Die-namics and popped it up on foam mounting tape, adding some Sweet Tooth card stock just to cover the opening. I added a strip of Sweet Tooth card stock stamped with Black Licorice dye ink and Bold Diagonal Stripes Background, and with Versamark, stamped the sentiment, from LJD Whimsical Greetings, on Black Licorice card stock cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 4 Die-namics, heat embossed with white detail embossing powser, and added it across the window.



Then I added some flowers from Desert Bouquet, cut out with the new Desert Bouquet Die-namics!!! I love these little flowers and have been fussy cutting them out – now I don’t have to!! Woohoo!! I added some Wild Greenery Die-namics along with the flowers and finishe off with some enamel dots.
