I was thinking of using the chalkboard technique on this image but after I got it heat embossed I decided to color it with a white pencil instead. Once that was done I trimmed it with A2 Rectangle STAX Set 2 and popped it up on a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

I stamped a sentiment from All About You Stamp Set on Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics and adhered it directly to the card front. Then I stamped and cut All About You Stamp Set and Die-namics and popped it up on foam for dimension and finished off with some Clear Round Drops – Set 2.

MFT February Countdown Kickoff—Five Days Until the New Release!

Hello and welcome to Day Five of MFT’s February Release Countdown! Release is in five days and it’s another amazing release! I do love the Impressive Die-namics line for hot foiling so I used You Impress Me Die-namics for this card. I used turquoise hot foil and stamped a sentiment from All About You Stamp set under it with Black Licorice dye ink, then framed it with Sweet Stack Paper Pack after tying around some baker’s twine.

The frame was cut with A2 Rectangle STAX Set 1, A2 Rectangle STAX Set 2 and popped up on foam tape for dimension and I finished off with some sweet heart shaped enamel dots.

If I Had 100 Hearts, They’d All Belong to You - MFTWSC #474

Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.



I just love this sketch!! I’ve done similar designs in the past and I love to mix sizes and colors for them. For this card, I started by dry embossing Lots of Heart Stencil on Sweet Tooth card stock and used it for the left panel. Then I popped up more Sweet Tooth card stock on foam tape for the right panel.

Next I cut lots of hearts from different colors of MFT card stock (Die-namics and card stocks I used are listed below) and arranged them, following the sketch.

Some were adhered directly, some adhered with foam for dimension. Once I was pleased with the arrangement I heat embossed a sentiment from Smitten with You on Translucent Vellum with Ranger Silver Pearl embossing powder and adhered it with clear foam tape. I love it!

I’m Smitten With You–Color Throwdown Challenge #578

Hi everyone and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week Lynn is our hostess and she’s got a sweet winter color combo for us.





For this card I used MFT’s Impressive String of Hearts Die-namics along with silver hot foil to create this focal point on Sweet Tooth card stock. I colored the hears with Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen. I cut it with Elegant Rectangle STAX, matted it with Wild Cherry card stock similarly cut, and popped it up on a Cement Gray card stock base after tying around some baker’s twine.

To finish off I added a sentiment from Smitten With You Stamp Set heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics.
