Meowy Christmas - Color Throwdown Challenge #670

Hello everyone, welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! Today Wanda is our hostess and she is challenging us to some upcoming seasonal colors.

I'm using Meowy Christmas Stamp Set and Die-namics for this card. The image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers.

The back ground was created by sponging Broken China Distress Ink on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper, using Copic markers for the grounding. The sentiment was stamped with Extreme Black hybrid ink, then adhered with foam tape to a Sweet Tooth card stock base covered with Cool Collab patterned paper.

The image was popped up on foam tape and I finished off with some gold glitter enamel dots.

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the
Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword #CTD670 so we can see your beauty all in one place, and use #ctd670 and #colorthrowdown on social media. Hope to see you there! Sending a Flurry of Love - Color Throwdown Challenge #669

Hello and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week Vickie is out hostess and she's chosen some festive colors for us to work with.

I decided on a CAS design using a snow theme for my card this week. To begin, I cut Blue Beyond card stock with Snow Swirls Cover-Up Die-namics, tied around some baker's twine, and adhered it to a Sweet Tooth card stock base with foam tape.

Next, I cut Sweet Snowflakes Die-namics from Sweet Tooth card stock and Gold Sparkle card stock and adhered them directly and randomly to the card front.

The sentiment, from BB Warmest Wishes Stamp Set, was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Stitched Fishtail Sentiment Strips and was popped up on he card front with foam tape. A few gold glitter enamel dots finished it off.

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the

Giftable Greetings, MFT's November Kit, Available in One Day!

Hello and welcome to MFT's November Kit Countdown! This month we have a fabulous array of tag product that will take you through your tag-making needs all year long! Release is tomorrow, November 16th, at 10am Eastern so set your clocks! You won't want to miss out on this adorable kit!

The Giftable Greetings Tag Kit includes the following products:

Giftable Greetings Stamp Set
Do-It-All Gift Tag Die-namics
Festive Celebrations Paper Pad
Card Stock - Smooth White (2), Cotton Candy (1), Poppin' Pink (1), Wild Cherry (1), Sour Apple (1), JalapeƱo Popper (1), Summer Splash (1), Caribbean Sea (1), Lazy Day (1), Blue Beyond (1), Gravel Gray (1)
The following will be available as a separate purchase:
All-Occasion Icons Die-namics
Fine Finish Edge Die-namics
The Free with $60 releasing with this kit is Itty Bitty Gifting Stamp Set.

I've got a couple of tags for you so let's get started. The first one is not really a Christmas tag but I guess it could be. The tag was cut from Festive Celebrations Patterned Paper and also from Sweet Tooth card stock and adhered together for strength. I used Blue Beyond card stock for parts of it and the heart, cut with All-Occasion Icons Die-namics was cut from Poppin' Pink card stock and tied on some pink ribbon with baker's twine.

This tag contains a gift card to Bath and Body Works so I thought this little bear, from SY Spa Day Stamp Set and Die-namics was a perfect embellishment. The little sentiment is from Itty Bitty Gifting Stamp Set and was heat embossed

My second card is decidedly a Christmas design to be tied onto a package containing a surprise! This image from BB Jingle All the Way Stamp Set and Die-namics was a perfect way to play on the sentiment from the kit set, Giftable Greetings.

More patterned paper from the kit was used on it and the sentiment was likewise heat embossed. A spattering of white craft paint serves as snow as Santa consults his list. How cute!

And that's it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check back tomorrow for more tags on my Giftable Greetings Tag Kit Release Post!

Fill the Season with Warm Memories - Color Throwdown Challenge #668

Hi there and welcome to a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge!! This week Lynn is our hostess and she's challenging us with the shades of the season this week.

First, I stamped the images on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers.

Next I created my background by sponging Broken China Distress Ink on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper, added grounding with Copic markers, stamped the sentiment, and adhered it to a Kraft card stock base with foam tape.

Once the images were popped up on foam on the card front this card was done! How cute are these little images???

And that’s it from me! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the

Final Countdown--One Day Until MFT's November Release!

Hello and welcome to Day One of MFT's November Release Countdown! Release is in one day, November 9th, at 10am Eastern so set your clocks! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details! Today we're previewing Chillin' with You Stamp Set, Chillin' with You Die-namics, PI Friendship Looks Great Stamp Set, PI Friendship Looks Great Die-namics, Birdie Brown Greetings Galore - Spanish Stamp Set, Birdie Brown Greetings Galore - German Stamp Set, and Birdie Brown Greetings Galore - French Stamp Set.

OMG, how adorable is this set??? I love that little fox and PI is pretty foxy, herself!! To begin this card, I sponged Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper with Broken China Distress ink at the top and used Copic markers for the grounding in snow. Then I spattered with clean water, and when that was dry with black acrylic ink. When *that* was dry I adhered it directly to a Sweet Tooth card stock base.

Next I stamped the images on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut them out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored them with Copic markers. Birch Tree Forest Cover-Up (I love this!!) was then cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and adhered to the card front with foam tape and the two colored images popped up on foam tape.

The sentiment was heat embossed on Black Licorice card stock cut with Skinny Strips Die-namics and also popped up on foam tape for the finish.

And there you have it for the November MFT Release Countdown! Release is tomorrow, November 9, at 10am Eastern so don't be late! Thanks so much for stopping by--see you back tomorrow for Release Day!
