Batten Down the Hatches!!

Hello! I'm back today with another Sassy Pants Stamps card for you! Not quite as risque' as last week's but still cheeky, fun, and more than a little suggestive ;-) Today I'm using Shiver My Timbers Stamp Set and Coordinating die

I did a watercolor wash on Ranger watercolor paper with Peerless Watercolors for the "sea", spattered some clean water, and then stamped the sentiment with hybrid ink before popping it up on foam tape.

The sky was stenciled with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and I hand drew the seagulls with a black Copic Multiliner pen. The ship image was stamped on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut with the coordinating die, and colored with Copic markers. To finish off I popped the ship up on an action wobble spring that's sure to bring a smile to the recipient's face.

And that's it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!

Did You Hear? There's a New Stamp Company in Town!

Did you get the memo? There’s a new stamp company in town and it’s the bomb! The “F” bomb, that is! Sassy Pants Stamps will be your go to for cheeky, saucy stamps, dies, and more in the coming months. A couple of releases have dropped so go check it out at sassypantsstamps.com

Some products or images are PG13 and some are even X-rated to help you express how you really feel. If your card recipient is on the same wave-length, then Sassy Pants Stamps are just what you need!

I must admit I've been known to drop the F Bomb on occasion, so this stamp set and coordinating dies are really right up *my* alley. The background was stenciled then the dies were cut, layered, and popped up on foam tape. The two smaller sentiments were heat embossed and also popped up on foam and the bottom sentiment was stamped directly. I know *exactly* who is going to get this card and I can't wait ;-)

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you soon!

MFT's September New Release Spotlight, Day Three!

Hello and welcome to MFT's September Release Spotlight Day Three! Today I'm using Tool Talk Stamp Set, Cool Caddy, and In the Toolbox Sets 1 and 2 Die-namics! How clever is this? The September Release is now available for purchase so head on over to the MFT Online Boutique and shop! And don't forget to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details and more inspiration!

I cut Cool Caddy Die-namics from Kraft card stock and sponged the edges heavily with Kraft dye ink before assembling. Once that was done I started on the tool using Silver Shine card stock for the base of the tools and adding colored card stock "trim" for the handles, etc. Once they were created they were added to the "shelves" inside the caddy--I love this thing! The sentiment was stamped on Sweet Tooth card stock and popped up on the front with foam tape.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for MFT's September Release Spotlight Day 4!

MFT's September New Release Spotlight, Day One!

MFT's September Release is available now for purchase so be sure to head on over to the MFT Online Boutique and shop! And don't forget to stop by the MFT Blog for all the details and more inspiration! In the meantime, it's Release Spotlight Day One so how about some non-traditional pumpkin inspiration?

I'm using Jenoblade Corn Maze Cuties Stamp Set and Die-namics for today's card. I do love non-traditional colored pumpkins and have tons of them all over my house in the Fall. Today I went with colors that match Orange Sherbet Patterned Paper: Cotton Candy, Orange Zest, and Grapesicle.

The images were stamped on No Line coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink, cut out with the coordinating Die-namics, and colored with Copic markers.

The background was sponged with Cotton Candy, Orange Zest, and Grapesicle dye inks on Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper. Next I spread molding paste through Tiny Clouds Stencil and set it aside. I cut Smooth White card stock with Watercolor Circle STAX Die-namics and created a shaker element which was popped up on a Smooth White Card Stock card base covered with Orange Sherbet Paper Pad.

The colored images were popped up on foam and lots of Bitty Fall Leaves Die-namics arranged around them, then finished off with some matching enamel dots.

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Two of MFT's September Release Spotlight!

MFT's September Release Will Be Available for Purchase Tomorrow!!!!

Hello and welcome to MFT's September Release Preview! Release is tomorrow, September 18th, at 10am Eastern so set your clock! And be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for ALL the details!

I could not be happier that Fall is on the way! We've been feeling it in the air after the sun goes down and I for one cannot wait! So, of course I went with a Fall themed card for today :) I'm using all Die-namics today: Letterboard, Letterboard Alphabet, and Bitty Fall Leaves for this Fall greeting.

My card base was created from Milk Chocolate card stock and my Letterboard was cut from Kraft card stock and the edges sponged with Kraft dye ink for a little rustic touch. The leaves were cut from Sour Apple, Jalapeño Popper, Lemon Drop, and Orange Zest card stock and also sponged with Kraft dye ink.

The Letterboard was popped up on foam tape, the letters adhered with liquid glue, and the leaves all with bits of foam tape for dimension. I love these bitty leaves!!

And that’s it from me today! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for September Release Day!
