Hangin' With My Peeps

This card is my audition for the MFT Idol contest. This is nerve wracking, LOL!!! But fun! Competition is tough--you can see what I'm up against by viewing the other contestants' cards here. I'm using the newly released WTG set, Hangin' With My Peeps. I just LOVE it!!! 'Course, I love any WTG set, LOL!

My base card is Very Vanilla with layers of Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, and DP from the Archaic 6 x 6 pad from Basic Grey. Oh, and I'm using an old SFYTT sketch for my layout. The next element is more of the same, different DP pattern, and then I added a strip of Baja Breeze 1" wide grosgrain ribbon, following the sketch. The focal image was stamped on Gina K. Pure Luxury 80 lb. paper with Memento Rich Cocoa ink. It's paper pieced and colored with Copic markers (see below for colors used) and is up on 3M foam squares. The little peeps are up on snippets of foam squares, too. Prima flowers were attached with a Build a brad using more DP with some leaves punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The sentiment was stamped on DP with Memento Rich Cocoa ink, punched out with a 1" circle punch, and is tied on with brown hemp. Dew Drops from the Men's collection add the finishing touch.

Thanks for dropping by! What do you think--is this Idol material??? I sure hope so!!
