Our Craft Lounge--Color Throwdown #36

It's Wednesday, so it must be Color Throwdown day! This is week #36--are you ready?! Several weeks back we passed the 100 followers mark so we're celebrating by giving away some stamp sets from Our Craft Lounge.

How cool is that?! Aren't these the cutest Easter stamps??!! Play along with us and you'll be in the random drawing for these awesome stamps! This week's colors combination is the Our Craft Lounge colors--pink, orange, and turquoise and this challenge is hosted by Tammy Hershberger.

OK, so on with my card :) I started with a base of Whisper White and added layers of Tempting Turquoise, Only Orange, and DP from the Sasha Collection by Prima. The next element is Tempting Turquoise with a layer of Only Orange with some paper piercing going on. The focal image is from a set called Anna Mae. Isn't she just so stinkin' CUTE??!! She's colored with Copic markers (see below), cut out/embossed with a Long Rectangle Nestabilities die and is layered on a scalloped Tempting Turquoise layer. The cake is up on 3M foam squares, as is the entire focal element. The sentiment is from the Lil' Peanut set and was punched out with the small oval punch, layered on Only Orange and Tempting Turquoise ovals, and is up on foam squares. Three buttons, tied on with DMC embroidery floss accent the upper left corner. Some little girl is gonna LOVE this card, I'm thinking!

C'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD36 so we can see your beauty all in one place. And if you play, you *could* be picked as our Featured Stamper and a guest designer! Hope to see you there!

Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week:
Broni Holcombe--Splashes of Watercolor
Cathy Indelicato--Crafty Thoughts
Danielle Kennedy--Wild Dragonfly Designs
LeAnne Pugliese--Wee Inklings
Tammy Hershberger--Stamp Happy

Thanks for dropping by!
