Pie In the Window--Color Throwdown #58

Are you ready for another Color Throwdown? It's my turn to host and here are the colors I picked for this week's challenge: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke, and Regal Rose. Aren't they pretty together?
We also have a sponsor again this week. She is Denise January at Sassy Stampin', so head on over to the Throwdown blog to get all the deets. There's a prize involved ;-)

I'm using a new-ish Karen Lockhart stamp called Pie In the Window, or something like that. I see it's not available right now at Ellen Hutson's store, so that's the closest I can get ;-) I'm glad I got it when I did, but the Cupcakes In the Window is just as cute--it was hard to decide which one to order! The image was stamped on Pure Luxury 80 lb paper with Memento Rich Cocoa ink, colored with Copic markers, and edge distressed with Ranger Tea Dye Distress Ink. Then I matted it with Regal Rose and Chocolate Chip and stitched around it. The base card is Very Vanilla, Always Artichoke, and DP from the Porcelain 6 x 6 pad by Basic Grey and then also stitched. A pink ribbon, a green button, and some brown Perle cotton finished it off.

Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play. If you don't, just use the closest you have. And don't forget--this week there's a chance to win a prize or to be chosen as Featured Stamper. Now, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use Mr. Linky to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily and so you'll be eligible to win (only directly linked entries will be considered for Featured Stamper or for the prize--see the sidebar on the blog for all the details). If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD58 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there!

Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week and give a warm welcome to Kristin Bueter, our September Guest Designer!
