I paired this set with an older set called Funky Flowers with which I made my poinsettia. (Funky Flowers is currently in the Bubble Bin--check it out!) I stamped it three times--once on Old Olive and twice on Riding Hood Red, then glued them together with glue dots. Then I glued on some gold seed beads for the center. It makes a perfect poinsettia, I think.
For the Alpha Dots, I stamped them on Very Vanilla with Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink and punched them out with a 3/4" circle punch (which is a perfect fit) then popped them up on foam circles. I used three patterns of paper from Memory Box's Spiceberry collection. My scalloped border was done with an EK Success border punch and I added some tiny red flat-backed pearls to the border for some contrast. I think this alphabet set is going to become a much-used set.
MFT DT members (both full-time and guests for December) will be showing you more ways to use this set, so head on over to Kim's blog to see the line up--she'll have the list up at 11:00am EST. Be sure to check them out--I can't wait to see all the ideas everyone comes up with for this set!
Thanks for stopping by today...I'll have another sneaky peek for you tomorrow morning AND there'll be the December release blog hop tomorrow night. More on that tomorrow, too ;-)
