Thank you – Color Throwdown #76

[If you're looking for my MFT VIP Blog Hop post, please scroll down to the next post. Thanks!]

It’s Color Throwdown day again! Tammy chose the colors today: Old Olive, So Saffron, and Melon Mambo.

swatch 76

So, I veered a little bit from the challenge colors because I so wanted to use this new apple paper I got from KI Memories’ School Days collection called Teacher’s Pet. I used Old Olive, Crushed Curry, and Bravo Burgundy—same color families, LOL. Hope Tammy won’t call out the color police on me ;-)

I stamped my little Pure Innocence – Apple For You image on a Perfect Paper Panel with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored it with Copic markers. Then I added some grass with a new border punch I just got—couldn’t wait to play with it. I’m using Mercy’s Sketch #57 for my layout. CTD76_PI_thankyou_2010jan20

Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use Mr. Linky to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD76 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! And be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!

  7. OK, you got a one-day reprieve and now I'm calling Challenge 911 to come and pick you up! LOL Seriously though, you have shown that it's OK to deviate a little from the suggested colors and that's great! And the card is FABULOUS!!! That paper is too cute, and perfect for the sweet image!
