Love Life - FTTC #73

It's time for
Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge (FTTC73)! It's the last Tuesday of the month so we have a challenge host. This month's host is Cindy Coutt's. Cindy is giving us a fruit inspired challenge. You can actually create a card with fruits, use fruity colors, or be inspired by fruit shapes. It will be a cool and refreshing sweet treat whichever choice you decide. We look forward to seeing what you create.

Obviously, I'm still in citrus mode, LOL! I'd never inked up this lemon tree topiary from the Life, Love and Lemons set so I thought I'd give it a go. I actually grew a Meyer lemon in a pot once and got gorgeous fruit from it. Then it became too much trouble and I gave it away. I was amazed at how large the fruit was, though. So, I stamped the image on Classic White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic markers. I'm using SCS Sketch Challenge #286 for my layout--just under the wire, LOL! Card construction is simple--just some layers, some ribbon, and some Dew Drops.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Now, check out the rest of the FTTC team and see their take on the "fruity" challenge--then I hope you'll play along with us!
