What's Cooking? CTD #131 and MFTWSC # 9

It's time again for another Color Throwdown challenge AND another MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! This week's colors were chosen by the very charming LeAnne:

And here's the MFTWSC Sketch. You can find the sketch on the MFT blog and also in the MFT forum on SCS, as well as in the weekly newsletter.  The Challenge and Design Teams will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started.

The first thing I thought of when I saw these colors was a baby card. But I didn't want to do a baby card, LOL. So, as always, I started looking through my patterned paper and came across October Afternoon's Modern Homemaker. And, lo and behold, it's got a couple of patterns with all the colors! That led me to pull out one of my favorite MFT stamps, à la modes - What's Cooking?, and get to stampin'! I stamped her on a Perfect Paper Panel with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her up with Copic markers before cutting her out. For the circular element, I cut out one of the new Dizzy Doily Die-namics doily and ran it through my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots folder. Then, some twill and some buttoned up twine, the sentiment, and it was done!

Here's the inside.

And here are the Copic markers I used.

Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD131 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week, and help up welcome out March Guest Designer, Keva Brown!
