Perfect Pinwheel - MFT July Teaser, Day Four

Have you recovered from all the sweetness the Design Team served up yesterday? Those PIs never fail to bring a smile, do they? Today we're showing you Perfect Pinwheel Die-namics and Stamp Set and Inspired by Summer. I have a Perfect Pinwheel card for you, but first:

  • The July Guest Designer Contest continues and ends tonight, July 4th at 10 PM EST. The winner will be announced at the release party. Get the deets here. You still have time to enter!

  • Teasers continue daily through Tuesday, July 5th. Head on over to the MFT blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with for today's teasers. Every day there will be a prize hidden on two of the Design Team's blog posts. Leaving a comment on every designer's blog post will give you the best chance of winning every day :) Check the MFT blog daily for the winners.

  • The July Hop and Shop will begin at 10:00pm July 5th, with the hop also starting at the MFT Blog.
My Perfect Pinwheel card is also a Happy Birthday card to the USA!! Couldn't let July 4th go by without a little paper celebration, now could I? I'm also using a new PI - PI and the Pinwheel that you probably saw yesterday. They just go together like bread and butter, toast and jam...well, you get the picture ;-)

Okey dokey, then. I swear I had that outfit when I was a little girl, LOL! Isn't she adorable! BUT, look at that fabulous pinwheel!!! Yes!! It's a die!! And so stinkin' easy to put together you won't believe it! You can use it as a pinwheel or use it for a big ol' flower without the stick. I just trimmed off an orangewood stick for my pinwheel but there are dozens of things you can use: bamboo skewers, small craft sticks, card stock, patterned paper...

I colored my little PI with Copic markers, cut her out, and popped her up. I added a little interest with some twine, a button, and some clear Dew Drops, but the show stopper is that fabulous pinwheel. Love it! Here's the inside of my card, using a sentiment from one of last month's PIs - My Little Firecracker.

In addition to the new Pinwheel die, I used the Star Border Die-namics die.

Here are the Copic markers I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! See you back tomorrow with the last teaser for July!
