Soooo, what did you think of yesterday's teaser? WTG is so fun, isn't she??? Today we're showing you Inspired By Flowers, Set 3, but before I get to that, here's some things you need to know:
- Release party is from 8-10pm on Tuesday, September 6th, at the Member Company Forum on SCS. Join us for fun, games, and prizes.
- The September Guest Designer Contest is on and ends on Monday, September 5th at 10 PM EST. The winner will be announced at the release party. Get the deets here on how you can win over $100 in stamps and play along with the Design Team for a month.
- Teasers continue daily through Tuesday, September 6th. Head on over to the MFT blog to see what the rest of the team has come up with for today's teasers.
- We're offering you the chance at Teaser Time prizes every day during our new release preparations! Each day, two prize vouchers are held by members of our Design Team. Starting this month, you'll have all week to comment on each of the posts - all the winners will be posted on Tuesday, September 6th around 7:30pm. Be sure to check the MFT Blog to see if perhaps YOU were one of our lucky FOURTEEN winners! Remember to leave a method of contact in your comments, because if you're selected as a prize winner, but we can't reach you, then we can't get you your prize to you.
- The September Hop and Shop will begin at 10:00pm September 6th, with the hop also starting at the MFT Blog.
OK, on to my cards. I did up two of the flowers in the set to show you today. Partly because they're all so gorgeous, and partly because I wanted to show you how the sentiments work equally as well inside or out. First up is the poppy. I stamped it on Fossil card stock and colored it with Copic markers. Love the colors I ended up with. I used a very simple layout for this one, but I love how it turned out. I think this one could even be a masculine card.
Here's the inside with the image stamped off to the side and another sentiment from the set.
For my second card, I went a little vintage-y and definitely girlie:) I colored the image with Copic markers, but then cut it out and popped it up for dimension. I used my Simply
Scallops Medium Die-namics die for the top scalloped border and added some lace and ribbon to finish it off.
The inside of this one shows how I switched the sentiments up. See how well they work either place?
Alrighty, then, that's it for me today--hope to see you back tomorrow for another teaser day!
