The First Noel - Flourishes Sneak Peek!

Here we are at the last day of Flourishes' November sneak peeks! What a wonderful assortment of Christmas sets that are now available for purchase HERE. Today we're showing you a new set by Lauren Pope--The First Noel--another of her amazing silhouette sets, this one depicting the Nativity.

I decided I wanted to stamp this image on some kind of softly patterned paper but, even though I have a TON of Christmas papers, I couldn't find any that suited me. So, I made my own, using an older set, Christmas Music (the music is 'Angels We Have Heard On High' so it's perfect for this new image!). I stamped that first with Memento Rich Cocoa ink, stamped off once, then stamped the Nativity image over top that with the same ink. I really love how the music softens the image. Then I distressed it up a bit and put my card together. The sentiment was stamped on a flag cut with my Grand Calibur and my Nested Lacey Pennant Dies, and I tied on a bow from gold-edged ribbon. Finally, I added some tiny gems, colored with a Copic marker, to the little stars.

Be sure to check out the inspiration provided by the rest of the Flourishes Senior Design Team. Remember, one of us is today's
