Here’s my first card using PI – Magician. So SWEET, isn’t she?

She’s stamped on Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 130lb with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers, except her dress is paper pieced. She was cut out and layered up using three sizes of the recently released Die-namics Oval STAX dies.

The sentiment (from the PI set) was stamped on a Die-namics Cloud Trio die cut. With the cloud and the pearls, I was going for a kinda “Poof” look—you know, like when magicians do something and there’s a cloud of smoke? Did it work? I really wanted to use vellum but couldn’t figure out a way to pop it up without the foam dots showing, so I went with shimmery white card stock instead. Finally, I finished it off with a Die-namics Pretty Posies flower.

Here’s a look at the Die-namics Chevron Stripes dies that come with this set. Amazing the looks you can get with it—I know where they are on this card and I can see an optical illusion—too cool! I used both of the dies in black, then added a smaller cut using patterned paper on top of the larger die cut. Can you see it?

And here’s the inside with a sentiment from the mini set and another copy of my chevron combo. There’s still an optical illusion, even on plain card stock.

For my second card, I’m using PI – Chemist. How stinkin’ adorable she is!!!

She’s also stamped on Neenah Classic Crest Cover, Solar White Smooth, 130lb with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers. Her pants are paper pieced, of course. She was then popped up on foam dots on the little mini scene I made for her—the “wood” floor is patterned paper. LOVE. The “scene” background was cut out using a die from my awesome Die-namics Oval STAX set and matted with an Die-namics Oval Decorative Doily die cut. I added some of the new MFT Grapesicle ribbon and tied on a button using Lilac Baker’s Twine.

I added some Glossy Accents to her little beaker—hope you can see it here.

And I stamped the sentiment—from the mini set--on some ledger paper using my Die-namics Notebook Edge die.
