Flourishes Friday Focus on Strawberries and Basketweave

Fridayfocus_2012jun1wtmk

Hi again! I’m back with Flourishes Friday Focus. Today we’re highlighting two sets: Strawberries and Basketweave.

First of all, I stamped the Basketweave image on some Classic Ivory card stock with some medium brown ink. Then I embossed another piece of Classic Ivory and swiped my Antique Linen Distress Ink pad over it for some highlighting. Then I wrapped a piece of green ribbon around and added my fave twine in a bow. Then I stamped the large image from Strawberries on some Classic White card stock and colored it with these Copic Collections:

Iced Aqua Collection:

Poppy Collection:

Warm Neutrals Collection:

New Leaves Collection:

Sunflower Collection:

Then I cut it out with my Labels Twenty Two Nestabilities, sponged the edges, and popped it up on foam. I finished it off with a banner die cut for the sentiment.

And that’s it for me! Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has for you today...

  2. How coincidental that I made two cards with these strawberries last night, and the basketweave on a May basket I just posted on my blog. I'm sure that set is still laying out on my stamping table, and now these pretty inspirations from all of your Flourish DT girls makes me want to stamp the rest of today with it. Beautiful work!
