A Star Is Born - CTD #200!!!

Welcome to this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge! This is not just ANY Color Throwdown challenge, no, it’s NUMBER 200! And to celebrate this milestone, each member of the design team has some blog candy up for grabs. Be sure to get all the details at the Color Throwdown blog—we hope you’ll play along. Simple rules for the blog candy: you have to participate in the challenge and link your card or project up on the Color Throwdown blog, then comment on each designer’s blog to be eligible for that designer’s blog candy.

So, you probably want to see what I’m offering for blog candy, right? OK, here it is:

If you’re the randomly chosen winner of my blog candy, you will receive three stamp sets, two paper pads, and four different ribbons. Be sure to leave me some way to contact you in the event you win :)

OK, let’s get to it! Lynn
is our host this week and she picked some YUMMY colors, based on her inspiration piece, for this challenge.

I’m using MFT’s new Die-namics Baby Onesie Die & Stamp Set for the “IS BORN” part of my sentiment, stamped on a new Die-namics Sentiment Strips die. I used a star from my Die-namics Star STAX and a star from Die-namics Stacking Stars, stamped with an “a” using Typewriter Alphabet to complete the sentiment. My banner was made with several dies, from the bottom up: Die-namics Mix & Match Banners, Die-namics Rounded Banner STAX, and Die-namics Notched Tag. After I constructed it, I attached it to the card with some mini clothespins, adhered with Scor-Tape.
For the inside, I embossed the onesie and stamped more sentiments within the embossed outline. MFT  Berrylicious and Whip Cream card stock were used on this card.

Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this card

And that’s it! Remember, you do not have to have the exact colors to play the Color Throwdown challenge. If you don't, just use the closest you have. So, c'mon over to the Color Throwdown blog and play along with us this week. Please use the link service to post your card and please link directly to your card so we can find it easily. And please include a link in your post to the Color Throwdown. If you upload your card to a public forum, please use the keyword CTD200 so we can see your beauty all in one place. Hope to see you there! Be sure to check out what the other team members have come up with this week!
