Hi, everyone! Today, MFT is sponsoring Cupcake Inspirations and here is the inspiration piece. Looks pretty yummy, don’t you think?
I chose a sentiment from MFT’s My Favorite Sentiments 6th Birthday Celebration Set for my card. This set is a special offering throughout the month of July—get all the deets HERE. Then I looked around in my stash and found the perfect paper and went to town.
I did some wonky stitching, tied on a Copic distressed seam binding bow, added some stick pins--also colored with Copic markers to match the paper. I finished the bow element off with a Die-namics Royal Rose and some twine. The focal sentiment was cut out with part of my Die-namics Well Worn Greetings die and the corrugated paper layer was cut out with Die-namics Designer Labels 3 STAX. The pink floral layer was cut out with my Die-namics Oval STAX, and you see a strip cut with my Die-namics Little Open Scallop Strip peeking out from under the corrugated paper panel. MFT card stock used on this card: Whip Cream, Hot Fudge, and Kraft.
I kept the inside very simple to show off the second fabulous sentiment from the set.
Here are the Die-namics dies I used on this card:
And that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by!
